Gujarat: Despite high prices, fuel sales 28% past pre-Covid level

Even though fuel prices went up dramatically during the past year, the demand for both petrol and diesel continued to remain high through 2021-22. In fact, petrol and diesel sales in the retail market have surpassed pre-pandemic levels in the state.
